Where will my dog sleep?
All of our dogs are tucked into bed in our insulated kennels. Bedding is provided.
Private Accommodation
Private Accommodation is for dogs that need their own room and own play yard.
All Med-Giant (9kg +) breeds will automatically be allocated to Private Accommodation unless they are sharing with a family member..
All Staffi and Bull Terrier types, unsocial dogs or dogs that are too energetic for social play will be allocated to this accommodation regardless of their size.
We reserve the right to allocate any dog to Private Accommodation. This is determined at the discretion of the K9 team.
If when your dog arrives and we decide they can't share a room or play unsupervised they will be moved to the appropriate private accommodation.
Can I bring toys and bedding?
You can bring bedding and toys however, we have plenty of bedding and prefer to use our own. As it is laundered regularly it is difficult to get bedding back to the right dog and we use our own while yours is in the wash. The same goes with toys. We have loads of fun toys and we find most dogs are not interested in their own toys when there are so many new smells and exciting things to see. If you do leave bedding and toys with us please label them clearly with your dog's name and surname. Be aware that we cannot guarantee it will be returned as occasionally dogs think it's a great game to destroy them.
Can I bring my dog's jacket?
Yes you can bring your dog's jacket. Please label it clearly with both their name and surname. Be aware that we cannot guarantee it will be returned as occasionally dogs think it's a great game to get them off and destroy them.
How often will my dog be fed?
All dogs are fed twice a day. Unless you request otherwise.
Can I bring my own food?
While we're happy to feed your dog their own diet, it does require additional time and space to store it.
Therefore unless your dog has specific dietary requirements or food allergies we encourage you to let us feed our food.
If this is the case please let us know exactly what food it is and please don't put it in individual bags unless we need to freeze it.
You can find out more about the high quality food we feed under the 'What We Feed' tab.
There is an additional fee for this service.
How much playtime will my dog get?
At the retreat our dogs are out in their exercise yard for the most part of the day. Of course the weather is taken into consideration. There are also a number of individual options available to play with an attendant. Bush walks, Paddock Play, Stroll N Sniff and the Adventure Playground. You can find out more about these under the Playtime Activities tab and Pricing tab
What vaccinations does my dog need?
A minimum of C5 vaccination. This covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Bordetella.
Please do not vaccinate your dog withing 14 days of boarding.
Titer tests are accepted to show proof of immunity.
Should my dog be flea and tick treated before coming?
Due to paralysis ticks becoming more wide spread in NSW, it is advisable to use a routine preventative. We recommend that all dogs begin a tick preventative (if not routinely treated) a minimum of 48 hours before their stay.
What if my dog is on medication?
Just bring it along clearly labeled with clear instructions. Also make sure the details are included in your booking instructions. There is an additional charge for this.
How will my dog act once I get them home?
They will likely be very tired and enjoy a good rest once home. It's not unusual for them to sleep for a few days once they are home. They've had an exciting holiday with lots of exercise and mental stimulation!
Is my deposit refundable?
To confirm your booking we require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 5 business days of making your booking. At our discretion in extenuating circumstances we may transfer the deposit to a future booking.
