ADOPTING AT ANAKY

​Samoyeds are a wonderful breed with some lovely qualities. They make great family pets and adore being with people. They don’t get a dog odour, which is a huge plus. 
 
At Anaky we only breed with parents who have been hip scored and eye tested and provide copies of the certificates to you. We also test babies for liver shunts and provide you with the Bile Acid test result.
 
Babies can go to their new homes when they are approximately 9 weeks old. Prior to this they have had their first vaccination (C3), been microchipped and wormed (fortnightly) and come with Limited Register papers with Dogs NSW and a comprehensive personal booklet on care and training.
 
Coming from a dog training background we have a high focus on behaviour and temperament. Puppies are subjected to early neurological stimulation from day 3 to 16 and sound desensitising from 3 weeks of age. They are given many stimulants to enhance their ability to fit into a busy family. I like to start lead training my babies before they go to their new homes and I also separate them from their litter mates and Mum so that they have spent a night or 2 on their own before they leave the nest. This includes the beginnings of crate training which aids toilet training down the track.
 
We recommend people come to visit us at Wilton (about an hour south of Sydney and about 25 minutes north/west of Wollongong) to meet our dogs and us and we can also meet you. Let us know some dates you are available and I can check our calendar too.

We do not keep a wait list and suggest you stay in touch if you would like to keep up with current news regarding puppies.
 
Puppies are currently $6600 each but this may change over time. We require an $500 non-refundable deposit to secure a puppy (once they are born) however if for whatever reason we cannot supply a puppy your $500 deposit will be refunded. Total $500 deposit comes off the price of the puppy when you collect your baby.
