When you arrive please let us know know of anything special about your dog.
Are they frightened of anything such as storms? Do they climb fences? Have they ever had any medical problems? Are they dog friendly? Things like these help ensure that we know your dog well. Leaving your baby isn't always easy. To help it's best to say your goodbyes at home and make the drop off as quick as possible. This helps them to settle in more quickly. Don't make too much of a fuss. Our beautiful team will take the best care of them so you don't need to worry. All dogs need to be vaccinated with a current C5 vaccination at least 14 days prior to arrival. A certificate can be uploaded to our booking system or you can bring it on the day. This covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainflueza (flu) and Bordatella (bronchitis). Parainflueza and Bordatella are canine cough. These vaccinations help minimize the risk of your dog becoming ill if they come into contact with these viruses however no vaccination will stop these illnesses occurring. They do however help the immune system to fight such illness and minimize any symptoms should they occur. Because of our small dog population and large open spaces we rarely encounter an outbreak at Kylie’s but do ask for up to date vaccinations for the safety and well being of all dogs. Vaccinations can take up to 14 days to work so do make sure they are up to date at least 2 weeks before their holiday. If your dog is on any medication or has any special dietary requirements please bring it along with detailed instructions. Make sure there is enough for the entire stay. |
