HYDROTHERAPY
What is Hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy is a style of resistance training and rehabilitation using the therapeutic properties of water. Here at Kylie’s K-9 Hydrotherapy, we use a specially designed treadmill encased in a glass chamber. Once your dog enters the chamber, the door is shut, and water fills the chamber to the level just above the dog’s legs. The water is at the optimum temperature of 28-30 degrees.
This process is a controlled method of exercise which can relieve pain and promote well-being. It also stimulates blood flow and relaxes and eases tight muscles, pain and inflammation. As part of a rehabilitation plan, hydrotherapy can be used for many reasons. It is useful pre and post-surgery, to manage weight and increase fitness, conditioning, and confidence in the water. We also welcome clients that are interested in using hydrotherapy for fun and general fitness of their canine companion. PricingInitial 45 minute appointment $110.00
