ADOPTING AT ANAKY
All Anaky parents are hip scored suitable for breeding and eye tested. Our babies are reared inside and we pride ourselves on the work we do with them prior to them leaving our safe haven. Babies are lead and crate trained (which aides toilet training down the track) and very well socialised. We have cats, horses, and a gregarious 11 year old daughter that smothers our puppies with affection. We are available day or night for all of our puppy families and are more than happy for you to call with any questions you may have.
Babies are able to go to their new homes when they are 8 weeks old and you will be provided with a comprehensive personal booklet on care and training. Your puppy will have been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and registered with Dogs NSW (formally Royal New South Wales Canine Council) on the Limited Register. As concerned breeders, we have taken this step to try to stop indiscriminate breeding practices and to protect our Samoyeds and our kennel name. A dog registered on the Limited Register cannot:
A dog registered on the Limited Register can:
However if at any time in the future (before the dog is 3 years old) you feel your dog is a potential show winner or would benefit the breed by producing puppies, it can be transferred to the Main Register with the written consent of the breeder. This is the Dogs NSW regulation. If at this time we agree with this opinion and in the case of a dog over 18 months of age, it has been X-rayed for hip dysplasia and AVA scored with satisfactory results, a transfer can be arranged. Bear in mind that a neutered or spayed dog cannot be transferred. We stress a dog registered on the Limited Register is just as good as a dog registered on the Main Register. So to protect you, your new puppy and us, we have elected to use the Limited Register. It can always be changed if warranted. In the meantime, enjoy your puppy for what it is: a happy, fun loving, smiling Samoyed. Click here for more information or to be placed on our waiting list.
